Marquis Who's Who Honors James Six as a Top Professional

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / December 2, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors James Six as a Top Professional for his dedicated service as a military instructor in the United States Air Force. With more than two decades of experience in his field, Mr. Six has served in various command and instructor roles, guiding service members to develop key forces. Through his contributions, he ensures that future leaders are prepared to succeed.

Mr. Six felt drawn to the military after the events of September 11, 2001. Though he had to wait two years, his desire to give back to his country and keep those he loved safe drove him to enlist in the U.S. Army reserves. During this time, he entered and graduated from training at Fort Gordon in 2003, earned a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering at Clemson University in 2006 and became a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School in 2008.

A Career in the U.S. Air Force

A year later, Mr. Six completed the civil engineering basic course at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and began his career in the U.S. Air Force as a project engineer. He was made a military officer of electronic warfare in 2013, a flight commander in 2014, an assistant director of operations in 2016 and an operational training development team chief in 2017. By 2018, Mr. Six became a deputy commander in the U.S. Air Force.

For his accomplishments in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Six has received several awards and accolades. Most notably, he received the Air Force Military Service Award through the Association of Old Crows in 2015, as well as the Air Force Electronic Warfare Annual Award from Air Combat Command in the same year.

A Focus on Advanced Instruction

Since 2022, Mr. Six has focused primarily on his role as an instructor. He briefly served as an SOS instructor for a year before becoming an Air Command and Staff College instructor with the U.S. Air Force in 2023. In this role, he is responsible for building the programs and lesson plans that his students will rely on. Additionally, he developed the data science course at the college, established in 2023.

Mr. Six and his fellow faculty members point to the adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning in warfare as essential knowledge for students at Air Command and Staff College. As data-driven decisions become the norm across global industries, their applications in the U.S. military are apparent. His leadership as co-founder of the artificial intelligence leadership course at Air Command and Staff College ensures preparedness for future innovation.

Ambition for the Future

Within the next five years, Mr. Six hopes to remain in his role as an instructor with the U.S. Air Force. In doing so, he aims to further develop the artificial intelligence component of his instruction, making it more accessible to all of the Air Command and Staff College. Furthermore, he has ambitions to become the course director for the contemporary warfare course at the college.
