SomnoMed Limited (ASX: SOM), the global leader in oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), today announced a significant investment in its managed care infrastructure to continue delivering high-quality support for health plan, provider network, and large-scale care program partnerships across the United States.

“This investment reinforces SomnoMed’s commitment to our health plan and provider partners,” said Karen Borg, co-CEO of SomnoMed. “By strengthening our managed care infrastructure, we’re ensuring that clinically proven oral appliance therapy can be delivered at scale. This will improve outcomes for patients while supporting our partners’ goals for quality, cost, and satisfaction.”

With two decades of experience and more than one million devices delivered worldwide, SomnoMed brings the infrastructure and clinical expertise to support large-scale health systems and payor programs. The company partners with regional and national payors across 16 states, serving approximately 18 million covered lives, and continues to expand to further extend patient access to oral appliance therapy. In global markets, SomnoMed has also established managed care partnerships with leading insurers, including in the Netherlands. Through these collaborations, integrated care programs have enabled access to therapy for tens of thousands of patients, reinforcing SomnoMed’s commitment to improving patient outcomes worldwide.

SomnoMed’s managed care programs feature centralized billing, provider credentialing, and verification services that streamline administration and reduce total cost of care. These initiatives enhance adherence, outcomes, and patient satisfaction, supported by SomnoMed’s digital workflow and patient coordination teams that ensure consistent therapy delivery across networks.

Driving this growth, Jennifer Larsen, RPSGT, has been promoted to Strategic Account Manager, reinforcing SomnoMed’s commitment to building scalable partnerships and operational excellence within managed care. With more than 27 years of experience in sleep medicine and strategic growth, Larsen will help expand SomnoMed’s collaborative programs with health systems and payors nationwide.
