TimeTree Inc., the global calendar-sharing platform, announced a strategic capital and business alliance with SK Telecom (SKT), South Korea’s largest mobile operator. Under the agreement, SKT will invest ¥2.2 billion in TimeTree to accelerate the company’s development of advanced AI features and global expansion.

This partnership was made possible by SKT’s recognition that TimeTree’s dataset of 13 billion schedules and its 67 million global users provide a strong foundation for AI-driven value creation. Together, TimeTree and SKT will co-develop next-generation AI features that transform schedules into natural triggers for intelligent agents—enabling proactive recommendations, automated bookings, and personalized planning.
Market Leadership and Growth Momentum
Launched in 2015, TimeTree has grown rapidly under its vision of a “calendar to be shared.” The platform now counts more than 31 million users in Japan, with nearly one million new users joining each month worldwide. In 2024, TimeTree introduced Public Calendar, enabling organizations to broadcast events at scale across entertainment, business, and government sectors. This innovation is redefining TimeTree as a “schedule-based media platform” that connects people with real-time information and opportunities.
