Last week, Graceland welcomed fans from around the world to Memphis for the annual Elvis Week celebration. As part of the festivities, Graceland debuted two new exhibits inside Elvis Presley’s Memphis entertainment complex.

Elvis Week 2025 kicks off today at Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis. Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis opened the newly-expanded Lisa Marie: Growing Up Presley exhibit today in honor of her 56th birthday. The exhibit’s expansion further delves into the multifaceted life of Lisa Marie Presley as a loving mother, passionate musician, and guardian of her father’s legacy. Lisa Marie Presley was born in Memphis and raised at Graceland as the only child of Elvis Presley. She passed away in January 2023.

Elvis Presley’s Graceland® is gearing up for a busy summer filled with a variety of activities and numerous reasons to visit. It kicks off with the opening of a newly reimagined ’68 Exhibit, which provides an up-close look at Elvis’ legendary 1968 NBC television special. The exhibit features artifacts such as tickets to the original show and the blue chairs that Elvis and the band sat on during the sit-down portion of the special. Along with a replica stage and famous ELVIS in red lights display, visitors can also see Elvis’ made-for-tv outfits including his famous black leather suit and white “If I Can Dream” suit. With 28 TVs throughout the exhibit, guests can immerse themselves in video clips of the unforgettable special that launched the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s “comeback” to live performing. The exhibit opens Memorial Day weekend at Elvis: The Entertainer Career Museum at Elvis Presley’s Memphis.

Graceland will unveil a new exhibition titled “The Making of ELVIS” to celebrate the movie’s worldwide success. It will be unveiled on Elvis’ birthday, January 8th, 2023, at Elvis Presley’s Memphis and remain in place until September 4th. The exhibition, done in partnership with Warner Bros., National Film and Sound Archives of Australia, and Baz Luhrmann, will look at the beginning of the creative process for the celebrated film and follow it through its journey to the big screen, taking the story from paper to film. Alton Mason (Little Richard) from the film will be joining in the opening.
