IHS Mauritius BR Limited, part of IHS Holding Limited (NYSE: IHS) (“IHS Towers” or the “Company”), one of the largest independent owners, operators and developers of shared communications infrastructure in the world by tower count, has agreed to sell its Latin America tower operations (“IHS Latam”), inclusive of IHS Brazil1 and IHS Colombia and its approximately 8,8602 sites to Macquarie Asset Management (the “Latam Tower transaction”).

IHS Fiber Brasil – Cessão de Infraestruturas Ltda, part of IHS Holding Limited (NYSE: IHS) (“IHS Towers” or the “Company”), one of the largest independent owners, operators and developers of shared communications infrastructure in the world by tower count, has agreed to sell its 51% stake in I-Systems Soluções de Infraestrutura S.A. (“I-Systems”) (the “I-Systems transaction”), a specialist provider of shared optical fiber networks in Brazil, to TIM. S.A. (“TIM”), the owner of the remaining 49% of I-Systems.

Following the announcement last week that IHS Holding Limited (NYSE: IHS) (“IHS Towers” or the “Company”) and MTN Group (JSE: MTN) had renewed and extended communications infrastructure deals in Nigeria, as well as completing the renewal of all contracts across IHS Towers-MTN markets recently, the companies said on Tuesday that with the commercial relationship now firmly established for the next decade, they will now work constructively to find a mutually agreeable resolution to governance issues previously raised.

IHS in Nigeria, a subsidiary of IHS Holding Limited (NYSE:IHS) ("IHS Towers"), one of the largest independent owners, operators, and developers of shared communications infrastructure in the world by tower count, and MTN Nigeria (NGX:MTNN), a subsidiary of Africa’s largest mobile network operator MTN Group (JSE:MTN), today announced an agreement to renew and extend all Nigerian tower Master Lease Agreements until December 2032, covering approximately 13,500 tenancy contracts.

On International Day of Education, IHS Towers (NYSE: IHS) and UNICEF announced a three-year international partnership to support the Giga initiative’s objective to map internet connectivity of all schools worldwide. Giga is a joint initiative of UNICEF’s Office of Innovation and ITU’s Telecommunications Development Bureau.
