These awards honour the exceptional achievements of individuals and organizations across British Columbia’s life sciences sector that have successfully advanced health innovations and significantly enriched our dynamic ecosystem.

Life Sciences BC (LSBC) welcomes the companies and mentors participating in its 2025 Investor Readiness Program (IRP). This exciting six-month program pairs small- and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) in British Columbia’s life sciences sector with entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIRs). The industry expertise and acumen of the EIRs provide the companies with invaluable insight and support.

Life Sciences BC (LSBC) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 26th Annual Life Sciences BC Awards presented by Farris. These awards recognize the exceptional achievements of individuals, companies, and organizations across British Columbia’s life sciences sector that have successfully advanced health innovations and significantly enriched our dynamic ecosystem. Each year a committee of esteemed sector leaders forms our adjudication committee to select the award recipients.

Life Sciences BC welcomes the companies and mentors participating in its 2024 Investor Readiness Program (IRP). Through a focused six-month program, small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) in British Columbia’s life sciences sector are paired with entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIRs) to become investor-ready. The industry expertise and acumen of the mentors provide the companies with invaluable insight and support, culminating in a final pitch session with investors and community stakeholders at the end of the program.

Life Sciences BC is proud to showcase this with Access to Innovation (February 16 and 17, 2022), a two-day virtual summit of thought leadership and dialogue. A skilled talent gap is looming. Life Sciences BC is supporting and accelerating the growth of BC’s growing life sciences sector through connecting skilled talent with new opportunities through the third annual Career Connect Day presented by BioTalent Canada, taking place virtually on Friday, January 21, 2022.

Life Sciences BC announces the companies and mentors taking part in the second annual Investor Readiness Program. This unique 6-month program pairs 10 early-stage life sciences enterprises with 10 executives-in-residence (EIR). Through EIR expertise and sector knowledge, regular mentoring brings the 10 Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to investor readiness for a final pitch session in front of pre-qualified investors.

Life Sciences BC will be celebrating the BC life sciences sector and community at the 23rd Annual Life Sciences BC Awards, presented by FARRIS at 2pm PT on Thursday September 23, 2021. Held virtually, these awards celebrate not only the talented winners but also the individuals, companies, and organizations that together create the vibrant life sciences ecosystem in B.C. This strong and supportive community nurtures talent and innovation, fosters entrepreneurship, and has built a solid foundation of scientific excellence within which the sector continues to grow.
