The Defiance Quantum ETF, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks liquid companies in the quantum computing and machine learning industries, has gained 6.3% year-to-date.
SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) shares are trading higher Thursday after the company announced it entered exclusive negotiations to acquire 100% of French ASIC design firm IC'ALPS for €12.5 million.
The company plans to release the QS7001 chip before the end of 2025. Sealsq says blockchain platforms like Hedera and WeCan are currently integrating its post-quantum security stack into their core infrastructure.

Sealsq reported that its cash reserves peaked above $90 million in January 2025 and said it expects revenue gains from its $5 million investment in research and development over the past year to materialize in early 2026.
